A Murder Mystery Weekend at The Moore Farm House Bed and Breakfast can be a great way to gather some of your friends for a much needed get-a-way. 

Use our 1914 Farm House bed and breakfast as your home away from home. Invite three other couples to join you and let the good times roll.

Your special weekend of mystery and intrigue will begin on Friday evening when you'll hear about the mystery from James E. Moore, owner of the original 1874 Moore Farm House over 130 years ago. He will let you know the background of the case and introduce you to the rest of the characters.

While enjoying some light refreshment (wine, cheese, etc.), you can meet and interview your friends who have now taken on a new identity.  They will hold additional information that might help you solve the mystery.

After a sumptuous breakfast Saturday morning, you'll be free to explore Conway (where several merchants will have new clues for you) and any other shopping or beachcombing you care to do. About 3 o'clock, the sheriff's report will be posted at The Moore Farm House. This will give you pertinent information which should help you determine who did it, why, and how. 

Saturday evening (at a time agreed upon by the guests) you will have the opportunity to make your accusation. The Sheriff promises to be there and tell us who the culprit really was.

Sunday morning you'll enjoy another great breakfast. Take your time checking out and enjoy all the other great things available in the Conway- Myrtle Beach area.

The all inclusive rate for this fun weekend is between $275 to $370 per couple depending on room selections and season. Call for specifics.

Romantic Weekend

Enjoy the charm and amenities of the 1914 renovated Moore Farm House Bed and Breakfast for three days and two nights. Your romantic get-a-way starts the minute you walk into the house.  Enjoy homebaked cookies, chocolate covered strawberries (when available), and chilled wine in your room. You'll enjoy two nights in beautifully restored accommodations complete with whirlpool tub, cable TV, DVD player, a surprise or two, and a bed you won't want to leave. Breakfast both mornings is designed by our executive chef.

 

During your stay with us you can enjoy a side by side one hour therapeutic massage (massage cost not included) in the privacy of your own room. Prices vary depending on services desired, room selection, and season. Call for pricing and appointments.

Military Discount

We appreciate the sacrifice our men and women in the armed forces make to keep our country free.  We also appreciate the sacrifice made by the family they are often separated from.  Let us provide you a special weekend together at The Moore Farm House Bed and Breakfast.  As our way of saying thank you, we offer a 10% discount to our active military guests from April through September.  Mention the discount when making your reservation and bring a current photo military ID to ensure your discount. Subject to availability and minimum stay requirements.

 

Locals Discount

Just because you live nearby is no excuse to stay home all the time.  Get away for a night or two without spending a tank of gas.  If you live in Horry County, SC and want a new experience, join us at The Moore Farm House Bed and Breakfast and receive a 10% discount during April through September.  Just mention the Locals Discount when making your reservations. Subject to availability and minimum stay requirements.

If you make your reservations on line for the military or locals discount, please follow the instructions below to ensure you receive your discount.

1. The reservation must be made through the availabilty calendar on this web site by clicking below.

2. After placing your reservation you will be directed to a Confirmation page.  The rate will not yet reflect the discount.

3. Go to the section entilted "Please share with us"  In the Questions box, insert the appropriate promo code "Military" or "Locals".

4. When the reservation arrives, we will correct the rate to include the discount and send you a corrected confirmation.

Deposits are refundable if cancellation is at least 7 days before scheduled arrival.

Cancellation made with less notice will be charged for one night

Reservations not cancelled or cancelled after scheduled check in will

             be considered "No Shows".

There is no refund for early departures or "No Shows". The full stay

             will be billed
